Robert J. "Bob" Bauer, 63, of Larimore, nd, died of complications due to brain cancer October 13, 2009 in Good Samaritan Center in Larimore.A family greeting was held Oct. 16 at the Bakke Funeral Home in Larimore, ND. Services were held Oct. 17 at 11 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Larimore under the direction of Bakke Funeral Home of Larimore.

The Celebrant was Fr. James Goodwin. Honorary pallbearers were the Larimore Ambulance and Rescue Service, Larimore Fire Department and all of his family, friends and co-workers.Military Honors were provided by the Ted Valerius Post Noanita dunn husband, anita dunn s husband, anita dunn bio . 97 of the Larimore American Legion.He was born Oct. 4, 1946 in Blackduck to Nyles and Mary (McCauley) Bauer. He attended school in Blackduck and graduated from high school in 1964.After graduating, he joined the U.S. Navy and was stationed in Rosemount. He married Cheryl Mostad June 11, 1968 in Warba. They moved to Larimore in 1977.He worked for Northwest Airlines from which he received numerous customer service awards; mostly in Grand Forks, for 39 years, retiring in 2007. He was involved with the Larimore Volunteer Fire Department and Ambulance service for 30 years. He was noted for his

personal way with patients

He was the Rescue EMT CPR and first aid training, and instrumental in implementing Larimore. After his retirement he took over the heads of the obligations of the Northwest Larimore Ambulance and rescue service. He was also at the national level to save them.
