His last album, R & B songtress Monica and her reality TV gears up to drop still standing shows premiering tonight on BET. Weekend celebration of his birthday party and Monica Luckie Lounge on Friday with her celebrity friends, and when used on Sunday to celebrate the premiere of the reality TV show was celebrated.
Clad in a gold and black metallic skirt and, black turtle neck and black knee high Chloe boots, Monica talked to the press about her growth as an artist and what Still Standing means to her as a woman and mother. “It’s an opportunity to get a positive message across. This generation does rely a lot of faith and faith has been the key to my success,” Monica says. “I want to let people know it ix okay to be prayerful.” Rocko was also there to greet the press and he says the show is an authentic portrayal of their family life.
It's us, we are not operating there is no script, he said. "Show the image of the family." Family is what it is all about. Although the album and reality show Monica keeps very busy in those days. She takes time out to plan the birth of her son and through the reality show as a model for youth.

New York, NY (CNS) - R & B songstress Monica back in the spotlight with an intimate look at him everyday life in the new document-drama "Monica: Still Standing," BET said the original series. The 29-year-old "So Gone" singer will take viewers on her personal journey of survival and enlightenment beginning October 27.
The show will feature the Grammy Award-winning artist - who has two sons with rapper Rocko - as she tries to balance family and work while dealing with trials, triumphs, and health challenges.She said, "It was very scary stepping into the type of situation that would expose me and my life. But I think that there are so many kids now that are aspiring to do exactly what I've done and I felt like that was worth me putting myself on the line so they would really understand what it's like to try and juggle both a music career and personal life."
