boston college football

boston college football

Virginia is down 7-0 to Boston College after the first half of play. I'm almost certain that the College Football Hall of Fame in South Bend, Indiana will not be asked for the game-tape of the first stanza. Ugly football game until Hoos faAs the second quarter ticked away under two minutes, Jameel Sewell blew Virginia's only serious scoring attempt as he threw a horrible interception.

Virginia's normally accurate kicker Robert Randolph, also, missed a 1st-quarter 47 yard field-goal attempt that was wide-right.BC scored on their only red-zone drive with a nice pass thrown by Shinskie to Jarvis. The Eagles QB is 7/15 for 95 yards and one touchdown. Montel Harris for BC has 95 yards on the ground on 17 carries.Jameel Sewell has looked, how do I say this diplomatically, horrible, on 8/17 passing for 65 yards and one interception. Rashawn Jackson has rushed 12 times for 59 yards with a long run of 19 yards. Defensively the Hoos have been OK, only really giving up the one big TD play in the second quarter. Steve Greer is the leading tackler for UVA as he has five in the first half

Back-up quarterback Marc Verica is in street clothes, so that means Plano, Texas native Riko Smalls is the back-up for Sewell. The Hoos will get the ball first to begin the second half! Go Hoos...
