So everyone has their own plans to take Young'uns see "Where the Wild Things," a film based on classic children's book by Maurice Sendak? The book is a staple of youth film library manager and now Spike Jonze.
Why not, then, a look at the best movies based on children’s books? (For this list, I considered only live-action movies, not cartoons.)To be sure, the bulk of the children’s movies I’ve seen were when I was a kid, and then when my kids were kids. And do not wait for any version of "Roald Dahl Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", because I'm in the minority, a good impression on the two versions.
